Job Description

An outstanding opportunity has arisen for an Associate Project Manager from a Consultancy background to lead and manage a successful Project Management team for a leading Construction & Property Consultancy in the North West

The company operate a fully remote working arrangement, with offices in central Manchester and Lancashire offering desk space if preferred / required.

We are currently seeking an individual to work on commissions and frameworks across a diverse public and private sector client base. Our client is seeking to recruit a high-quality professional looking for significant opportunities for rapid career advancement. You will quickly become involved in a variety of exciting Projects ranging from £5m-£50m, but typically around £20m including key regional projects covering buildings and regeneration. You will be responsible for the management of the team, business development, client account management, commission management, operations and financial management P&L.

Essential Criteria
” Project Management experience in consultancy managing multi-disciplinary design and construction schemes.
” Experience of Public Sector project delivery, some Local Authority experience desirable.
” Degree qualified in a construction related discipline. QS, Civil Engineering.
” Chartered in suitable discipline; QS, BS, PM or Civil Engineering. MRICS, MCIOB, CEng or MAPM.
” Experience of a range of procurement methods.
” Experience of Microsoft Project.
” Excellent oral and written communicator with the ability to motivate teams and work in close partnership with clients.
” Must be delivery driven with the ability to set targets and manage and motivate multi-disciplinary teams to deliver to time, cost and quality objectives.
” Self-motivated with positive can-do attitude.
” Highly organised and excellent communicator.
” An ability to innovate in terms of procurement methods to achieve delivery targets.
